1Do I need a backend server to use FormLynk?

No. FormLynk was architected specifically for frontend-only websites. Your form sends an HTTPS POST directly to our endpoint with your public API key. We handle origin verification, schema validation, spam blocking, asynchronous email queueing, and webhook dispatching.

2How does domain protection (CORS) protect my Browser Public Key?

Every project allows you to whitelist approved origins (e.g. `https://mywebsite.com` or `http://localhost:3000`). If another website steals your `pk_live_...` key and tries to submit forms from their domain, our edge layer immediately halts the request with a 403 INVALID_ORIGIN error.

3Can I use my own SMTP account like SendGrid, Postmark, or AWS SES?

Yes. In the Admin Portal, each project can be configured with dedicated SMTP credentials. If configured, our asynchronous queue worker will dispatch all notification and auto-reply emails directly through your own authenticated mail server.

4What happens if an email delivery fails?

Unlike traditional scripts that crash your form when an SMTP connection times out, FormLynk saves the submission to the database first with a public-safe UUID. If the mailer fails, our worker automatically retries with exponential backoff (10s, 60s, 300s) and logs every attempt in your Admin Portal.

5Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?

Yes. You can switch plans or cancel your subscription at any time with a single click in your billing settings. Your forms will continue operating uninterrupted up to your plan quota.
